Busy Busy !!

Killed a clutch on Friday and some of the guys lent me their bikes to get me out again !

Got some new shoes coming this week so I think I will heat cycle them in the garden ready for racing next friday !

been playing about with the bike, ordered some piped but it seems its the wrong sort so ill order some more on Friday for the bike !

other than that nothing much except work

Things or people I have lost ...

Today I woke to some saddening news that David "Knuckles Dawson" Dreger who went missing a little over a month ago, his body was found ... 

David was a massive member of Xbox and the community, he brightened the lives of everyone that he spoke to and came in contact with, he really was a remarkable young man !!  

I'm not going to speculate as to the cause of his death, that is a private matter for his family to come to terms with, all I am going to be is giving my prayers and thoughts to the family ! I founf this out pretty much just before going out and getting in the van today, I had a welsh run today and a van with no radio so I had a lot of time to think about things ... A lot of my thoughts were with David and his family ! 

Other than that I thought about life, and how its too short for certain things to get in the way of friends ...

When I was with Mel she was very insecure and hated the fact that I had a lot of female friends, I had to give these up for her (BIG Mistake !!) 

I've been looking through my facebook tonight and have reminisced on some of the friendships I had to give up, after burning those bridges I now need to try and rebuild them if i'm allowed, I would be skeptical if someone all of a sudden came back into my life saying "Hey I was that dick that deleted you without any reason, lets be pals again" but I guess its scary what "Love" makes you do ...

I hope I can rebuild the friendships and rebuild them again !!

Xbox One Pre-Ordered

Well I said I wasnt interested in the new xbox at launch and I kinda still not, I used to be hardcore with games and gaming, wanting everything asap, I have been to numerous product launches to get the things first !

Well this time im going to take a back seat ... Ive pre ordered it, ill let it turn up to the door, i am not going to a launch this time, the only game im really getting the console for at this point is Forza 5, sure ill get the moto gp game and the F1 game and any other decent racers that comes out on the platform but the game that has me hooked is Forza ... It looks too good to miss out on !!

Busy Busy !!

Well ive been crazy busy this week !!

Been in work and really got back into the swing of it, enjoying it again had some lovely routes the last couple days !!

Sunday was a long old day, work in the morning then down to Swindon for the Mini Motos, all was going well until the chain came off the rear sprocket to which I put it back on, headed back to the pits and diagnosed, found that I had sheared the bottom engine mount bolt !!

No biggie but I thought it put me out of racing for the day, this is where the community showed the true colours, I had another bike offered to me to keep me going round track and another guy gave me the bolt I needed to keep going on my bike.

After getting back out there I had a cracking time and the bike was feeling better than ever !

I have to get the bikes ready for Hully tomorrow ! need to get a couple jets for the carb and the bolt at the track tomorrow at the track, need to pop to B&Q tomorrow and look at some smaller bands for pauls water pump on his bike !

Also need to pop to Bristol Friction to put a couple clutches in for re-lining ready to do into the bike !!

Work and Bike again

Work was good today, spent most the day in Bath then did some drops in Glastonbury ...

Got home and fitted the manifold to the engine, then carb went on and it was a case of buttoning up everything and then I fired it up ... Man its loud ! I may need to add the silenced back into the pipe !

Its a lot more power too, I gave it a quick blip in the garden and it was trying to lift all 15 stone of me up in the air via the front wheel !

Needless to say its a monster and I cant wait to get it out on track on Friday now !!

Tomorrow is just checking over the clutch making sure its got a nice engaging point which is at about 7500revs (I have a digital gauge for that !) and checking the water is running through it all and there are no air locks

On Pauls bike I need to change the jet on the carb to make it run a bit cooler

Work, Xbox One and Bike ...

So today was the day I went back to work, loved it again !!

I am being buddied up with someone for the first 3 days to ease me back into it but I did quite a lot today and my shoulder feels good ! looking forward to tomorrows shift, hopefully we get a Welsh route !!

Xbox one ...

Or as I call it "Xbox not" ... They want £430 for the console ... thats an obscene amount of money for a console ! Yes I do like the fact that it does the other stuff (But thats all US at the moment) and I still cant work out how they get to that high a price point, so ... Ive decided im skipping the one for a while, ill get it, later in the cycle, but im not going to be someone lined up at midnight when it comes out to pick it up nahhh !!

Bikes !!

Well I now have the engine, it is installed with all the ancilleries and it looks a little like this ...

As you can see half the exhaust is missing, thats cause I have a new manifold for the carb to sit on the engine on the way, I cant get to that with the exhaust there so it has had to come out to give me access ...

Its getting there and is going to be fun to put out on track on Friday !

I have changed my shift on Sunday so that I can also do Wroughton !!

Back to work Monday !!

Well finally I have the all clear from the Docs to go back to work on Monday !!

Been a long wait with a fractured shoulder blade !! looking forward to getting back out on the road

Got a couple things to get finished this week !

Off to Kristies tomorrow night to watch Iron Man 3 and to have some more cuddles with Brooke, think I need to buy her some more stuff, havent got anything since she was born !!

On Sunday im off to get my new motor for the Mini Moto !

The guys and bikes I run with are all Watercooled engines and on Proddy Pipes ...

Here is a chance to explain the pipes

Thats the 3 pipes, the bottom is a 4.2, the standard pipe, then you get the next one up which is a 6.2 pipe as you can see the chamber is bigger thus the bike being able to produce more power as the gasses can leave the engine quicker, then you got the top one that is a Proddy which is a monster, again bigger than a 6.2 so even more power !

With power comes heat, hence my ike that is an Air Cooled is running a 6.2 pipe, I "Can" run a Proddy on an air cooled bike but you run the risk of seizing the engine through expansion if you have the jetting n the carb wrong !!

Everyone that I am racing with (I say racing we arent doing it in a competition we are just doing it at track days) are running watercooled and Proddy pipes, chatting to one of the guys on Friday he mentioned to his mate that didnt hear the conversation that I was on the lookout for that engine configuration, and after a less than successful outing where there just wasnt any competition in the W/C Category he wants to change to an Air Cooled 6.2 setup 

So its win win for us both, I get the extra power to give me a chance to get away from the bikes I am running with, and he gets the competition he is looking for

So I have already stripped the engine and exhaust out of my bike and its ready to go, just got to take down my bike and engine on Sunday and double check we have the right parts swapped over to make them both work !

Looking forward to getting it out on track though !!

Wow how time flies eh !!

Cant believe its been a year since I have written on this blog !! how crazy is it that time just seems to disappear !!

Well a LOT has changed in a year and here is a run down to get my blog up to speed !!

Mel and I :

Well after the negative posts that I have left on here, you can see where this is going, we are no longer together, it wasn't working out, we were at each others throats all the time and I feel like it was all my fault so I ended it !

I'm now living back at home and loving life again !!

Cars Cars Cars ...

Well the settlement FINALLY came through and I was car hunting, looked at lots and settled for an RX8, was lovely but then my next hobby came along and it became un-useable so that got sold on !

I now have a 307 that is currently off the road and needs a decent amount of work to get it back to ship shape and ready to be used ...

I am looking into whether its worth doing it up or scrapping it and getting another car ...

The New hobby :

Well what is this new hobby, well if you are into Motorbikes (or not) you may have heard of something called a Mini Moto (yeah those things that people rag around in a car park causing a nuisance) ... Well they are what we call CAG bikes (Chinese crap)

We dont use them ! we use proper Italian machines (Well mine is a French BMS Frame with the Italian Polini engine in (For now ! another blog for that !)

These things wan reach up to 70mph, we are currently running on indoors tracks and haven't ventured outdoors yet. The track we normally run at it Hullavington (M4 Karting) and i'm down to a 28.3 second lap which is pretty good !





Paul a good friend of mine (Kinda like a brother I never had tbh !!) Has one also ! He has a Banshee which is a very good Chinese Frame with the Polini/BZM Hybrid engine in, his goes like stink ! its an absolute animal !!

Job nearly forgot Job !!

Well I left Argos for Mel and to look after Mel, I guess that's something I can I guess thank her for as without her I would guess I would still be at Argos ...

I am now working for Ocado and love it !! It is THE single best job I have ever had and every day cant wait to actually go to work ! No waking up dreading the day, I get to go out on the road meet some amazing customer and see some truly beautiful views ! cant ask for any more !

I am currently off work though, I took a highside off the mini moto and straight onto my shoulder giving me a Fractured shoulder blade, its back to fitness now I think and am going to docs tomorrow to get it checked and get a fit note so i'm hoping to be back in work next week !!

Next blog post is going to talk a little about the Mini Moto and the plans for it :D

F1 and the Shenanigans of Silverstone

Well, the Silverstone Grand Prix hasn't went according to plan so for this weekend, with it being wet on Friday and a lot of people not being able to get into the circuit because of grass parking being rain sodden, they then ask fans not to turn up today to try and get it in a better position for Sunday

You have to ask the question how does a multi million pound venue screw up like this, could they not have just got a lot of parking boards (seen them in use at venues)

And why in the UK when it is predominantly raining do we rely on Grass parking, it should have all been tarmaced from the start ...

1 year anniversary and it's close to being over !!

Well I made it a Year with Mel, And now it seems to be going to pot, all I do is wrong, even when its her making an argument or having a go at me and me not biting back...

She takes EVERYTHING out on me and starting to think its on purpose to push me away, you would have thought a year together would be a momentous occasion and something you would want to celebrate, not for Mel, I didn't get a card or anything from her after 1 year together ... Even though Made the effort to get her one ! Shows how much she cares eh ?

Tonight what have we done ... Umm nothing, I am sat here writing this whilst she is on her Facebook ... Romantic !!

I mention about watching a film or having cuddles and I get a look of disgust that I am not worthy or that or don't deserve her or I have the plague !!

I don't know where we go from here, I really don't know how much more being wrong and being treated like a piece of crap I can take, it's starting to really wear me down.

The worst part of it is that I gave up my life (literally) to be with her !! I don't have any friends anymore, I don't see my car mates, I have no job, I gave that up too to look after her !!

Or maybe this is part of her master plan on messing up peoples lives and screw then up !!

And just lie that we are back to square one ...

Mel made a stupid argument out of who was doing food, and then we get onto money ... And now it's all my fault that we are worse off since I moved in!

SHE was the one that wanted me to move in properly ...

SHE was the one that wanted me to get the car back on the road so we can use it, and she has no problems reaping the reward of having it back (McDonald's every day, going to weston with kids, walks with dog) she wanted all this not me ...

Yet it's all my fault that we have the expenditures and not getting the funds to pay them, although she doesn't take into account her £50 a week habit of smoking which is £200 a month! her Red bull consumption ... Her wanting to eat out be it McDonald's or KFC etc

But I guess this is what my life has become, the one who is always in the wrong !!

Today has been fun

Things seem to be on the up today, went and got my phone checked out, all is well, for Mel a new phone as hers is broke, needs to go off for repair !!

I got some glasses, the world actually looks normal, I really should have got an eye test years ago, the world is so blurry !!

Kids have just been fed, sausage chips and beans and soon it's time for bath and bed, today has gone so quickly but is has been on the up all day, looking forward to tomorrow, Mel and I's 1 year anniversary !!

Down and up

Today started as it left off yesterday on a downer but by tonight it has picked up, she's had some of her time I've had some of mine

Mel made a STUNNING tiara from scratch and I am really proud of her for that, i was playing some F1 and am still really loving it, can't wait for this years to come out now !!

Didn't feel like writing a blog yesterday but everything seemed to be going well ... I say seemed because tonight its just turned to shit again...

An incident with 2 of the kids happened so I put them to bed (past their bed time anyways) and I was wrong for doing that !!

Apparently one of the kids doesnt like the fact I keep shouting at him ... That's is false I apparently had a go at him to get in the car, that wasn't true Merely asked him the same as the other 2 to get in he car and they didn't take it as a "go".

Then mel takes it out on me saying that she doesn't want me saying anything to the kids, so I'm not going to !! But then I'll be wrong when I then don't deal with a situation, it happened the other day when she was cutting the grass ...

I really don't see where me and Mel are going to go from here, everything that is wrong in our relationship is my fault nothing on her or the way she is ...

It stresses me out and I think that is what brought on the AF, I can't cope with always tip toeing around walking on egg shells all the time.

Everything is my fault

I don't pay Mel enough attention, I don't look after her. I don't care for her, she's ready to slag me off to everyone and anyone ... I feel like not being here sometimes, like the door is the easy option.

I never want to walk away as I love her but sometimes when she is like this I feel so drained emotionally !!

Today has been a hard day with driving up to London and back with barely a break, then getting her up to the fare she was doing and having my blood tests done, she doesn't understand how much driving takes out of you as a "non driver" as she puts it...

I dont get any rest from being her carer yet she's always going on about how she needs a break yaddy yaddy ya, she has no idea how much I need a break but of course I can't tell her that ...
