Frankie says the No Online Co Op Rumour for Halo 3 is Rubbish ....

Bungie chucks water on the No Co-Op online rumour and says , wait and see ...

It was reported last week that in the Upcoming EGM Magazine they Report it is unlikely that Halo 3 will support Online CO-Op , It now turns out that the Rumour has now got out of hand ...

Bungie's Frank O'Connor has responded today with this Statement

"All we confirmed to EGM ... regarding Cooperative Play in Halo 3's Campaign is that System Link co-op will be included in Halo 3,"

"Just like we told EGM, we're aware that people want co-op online but the challenge of getting our complicated A.I. systems, huge game world, and gargantuan encounters neatly packaged and transferring across the Interwebz is a mythic undertaking."

He also added, "All that said, EGM doesn't really know whether or not Halo 3 will ship with online co-op, only Bungie knows. The only thing they did know is that co-op was available for split-screen and System Link."

So the issue of Co Op over Xbox Live is still not a confirmed but at least we know it may still be a possibility ... O’Connor finished explaining that a definitive announcement to whether there will be Online Co Op will be made towards the end of Halo 3's development at a time when Bungie says it "will have a clearer picture of whether or not that online feature will be included."
