Now this is the news of the month, Honda have pulled out of F1 that is confirmed, no more Honda in F1 again ...
BUT what reason has Toyota got to stick around? Honda were their main competitors on track and from the same country/region, they haven't got the pace to run with the big boys but are ahead of the back runner cars, so they are In my opinion stuck in no mans land ... Where does this leave them, well I along with others feel they will use Honda as an excuse to leave the sport aswell.
This leaves the whole field in a Big predicament, although the contract details are sketchy/undisclosed at best the common theme is there have to be 16 cars willing to race at the start of a race weekend otherwise mr Bernie and his big wigs wont have a race on their hands, no we are at 18 cars on the grid at the moment with the departure of Honda, if Toyota pull out aswell we would be on the cusp of a meltdown of F1.
This then leaves Codemasters in a VERY awkard position... Have they just brought the rights off Sony to a dead horse ?
