Microsoft (And the world) expecting a PS3 price cut

Well after the 360 trounced the PS3 in sales last year we expect the reason is the price point ... When you look at the price you can get the 360 for £163 but you are still looking at a whpping £287 for a PS3. Thats a whopping £124 difference ... And it gets worse if you go for the Arcade you are going to save another £39 (The Arcade costs a mere £124).

So you can actually buy an Arcade AND a Premium for the price of a PS3, When you look at these figures you can see why it is clear that the PS3 is in a losing battle with itself.

Aaron Greenburg from Microsft has also commented on ths saying that Microsoft expct Sony to drop the price in the coming months : "We absolutely expect the PS3 Price drop to happen in the next couple of months. We’re frankly surprised it’s taken this long. I would expect they’d have to move on price, sooner than later, for sure."

The only question is when, could it be as soon as this week at CES or could Sony wait til E309 later this year?
