Aint just the 60Gb PS3 getting phased out

Looks like sony is getting into the swing of Phasing out products ...

First came the 60Gb PS3

Now comes the current PSP ...

At E3 sony announced they are going to be releasing a new PSP that is -
33% lighter
19% slimmer
has sped up game load times due to a faster UMD Drive
Improved battery life
and now includes a Video Output so you can play your PSP games and Movies on a Big TV

BUT what will happen to the PSP that is out in stores now ?

Well ... As you would have guessed by the topic title ... It will be phased out ... Unlike Nintendo who carry on selling the older Models , Sony will be discontinuing making the PSP V1 and will be only Producing PSP V2 ...

Now what does this mean to the consumer ... Well If you want a new PSP hold out until July to get the new one ... Otherwise ... You will be one of the last to get the older model of the PSP
