Ok so its time to pick this apart ...
Inconsistent Design - Ok Microsoft sell a Core ( Which doesn't sell well ) Without the HDD ... Why is this inconsistent ? It gives gamers the choice of Buying the Console , The console with 20Gb or a Console with 120Gb ...
And None of them have Blu Ray - Yes because Blu Ray is crap and totally useless to gamers !
HD DVD Will be out of Business in a matter of Months - I'd love to see how you came up with that statement , But as Microsoft aren't forcing us ( Like you ) to buy into HD DVD Technology when it is unproven which format will win who cares if it fails ... Microsoft will probably end up making a Blu Ray add on ...
And by the way this doesn't even work - Yes there are failures but Microsoft have committed to stand behind their product by offering a 3 year Guarantee on all consoles with the RROD Syndrome , What about the PS3 I am certain they are breaking , I alone have taken back 5 PS3's in Argos to date due to Not even turning on ( Tested in store aswell ) and no video output
This isn't a 10 year product - I'm pretty sure it will be ! We are only in the second year of it's life and look at the games line up at E3 ... Lets not compare that to your Dismal Performance
Lets look at the PS3 for a second ... £425 in the UK ...Yeah great way to start the consoles selling off put it £145 more expensive than the competition , and Why ...
Well as I stated in a previous blog , You are forcing consumers to buy into Blu Ray , Its unproven and costs a hell of a lot of money to put into the console ( Therefore bumping the price up for no reason )
You add Wireless functionality into the console ... what is the hell point of that ! Any serious gamers will use a wire as it gives more performance , I thought the PS3 was a GAMES CONSOLE
Bringing up my point last point ... Online ... You really can't call the PS3 online ... You leave it to the Developer to Host their own servers and you havent got a set of rules that need to happen within the Online side , Meaning on a lot of games the UK cant play US or Jap , yeah well done there !
PS3 home ... Why call it Home , you have just ripped off second life ! Plain and simple , well done using other peoples Ideas ... Seems you do a lot of that ...
SO , Before you go slagging off the competition ... You may want to look at your console to start with ...
